Beluga’s restructure, long term plans, and the formation of our multisig.
Beluga has come a long way, starting as an ambitious vision from one founder, to an innovative yield generating product that truly gives its users exposure to the best yields, and now, we are proud to announce our path forward as a protocol.
Restructure
We have spent time building out a full restructure of our protocol, unveiling a brand new UI, a more profitable vault design, and new, innovative vault strategies.
Our protocol restructure is now, officially complete, bringing forward a full restructure of our core protocol codebase and the unveiling of new innovative strategies, the maximizer.
As we move forward, we plan to release more innovative maximizer vaults that truly give users exposure to higher yields than any other platform, and to focus on innovation over quantity.
Roadmap
Looking to the future, here is what Beluga has planned:
- Liquidity boostrapping on Polygon, with a farming pool for BELUGA/WETH GLP
- Emissions for Beluga vaults
- Potential yield-bearing vault indices
We also have plans to expand onto other chains and going beyond Polygon to build an innovative multichain product for the highest yields. The chains we are currently exploring are of the following:
- Fantom
- Celo
- Avalanche
- xDai
- Harmony
Beluga will expand its product offering to other networks, solidifying itself as the go-to protocol for high yields on all chains.
Multisig
As of quite recently, the Beluga team has formed a multisig consisting of all existing team members and is a key component of our protocol restructure.
Currently, the multisig’s powers are control over Beluga fees (if fee distribution is ever adjusted) and 971 BELUGA tokens, alongside any other future emissions.
Powers that the multisig has will gradually grow over time as our multisig expands and the protocol evolves, with control over the protocol eventually being in full control of the multisig.
We believe that Beluga has a bright future, and will continue to build out our innovative protocol and allow our users to earn the highest returns on their assets.
